Laredo to Host Pathways for Trade 2026, Bringing Together North America’s Supply Chain Leaders Across the Rio South Texas Region

The Laredo Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) has officially announced the return of Pathways for Trade: The North American Logistics & Manufacturing Symposium, scheduled for September 22–24, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.

Held under the theme “Connecting the Americas: Infrastructure, Industry, Innovation,” this year’s symposium coincides with the 60th Anniversary of the Laredo Economic Development Corporation, highlighting six decades of advancing economic growth and international commerce.

As the largest inland port in North America and the premier gateway for U.S.-Mexico trade, Laredo provides the ideal setting for industry leaders, manufacturers, logistics providers, infrastructure experts, and policymakers to discuss the future of regional competitiveness and cross-border supply chains.

The three-day event will feature nationally recognized keynote speakers, executive panel discussions, networking opportunities, industry exhibitions, and exclusive site tours, fostering collaboration and investment across North America.

During the official announcement, LEDC also recognized the 2026 Pathways for Trade Ambassadors:

• Texas A&M International University – Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade
• Laredo College, Global Logistics Center

Both institutions will be honored during the Night of Trade Ambassador on September 23 for their leadership in workforce development, international trade education, and regional economic advancement.

Events like Pathways for Trade reinforce Laredo’s strategic role within the Rio South Texas Region, bringing together the public and private sectors to strengthen supply chains, accelerate innovation, and promote sustainable economic growth throughout the Americas.
