We are proud to see the Rio-South Texas Education and Community Development Foundation (RSTEF) partnering with South Texas Vocational Technical Institute (STVT) Brownsville to expand opportunities for technical education and workforce training.

During a recent visit to the Brownsville campus, RSTEF presented a $115,000 grant in support of workforce training initiatives that help prepare students with the skills needed to succeed in today’s high-demand industries.

Strong partnerships between educational institutions and community organizations play a vital role in building a skilled workforce, supporting employers, and strengthening the region’s long-term economic competitiveness.
