Rio South Texas Region at the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce Buenas Tardes Luncheon

In a gathering that brought together leaders from Nuevo Laredo and Laredo, the Rio South Texas Region Binational Auto Cluster was introduced, along with its initial phase: the Rio South Texas Region Industrial DataSystem.
This digital platform is designed to centralize strategic information about manufacturing companies located in Northern Tamaulipas and South Texas.
The platform will enable mapping of key industrial sectors, identifying regional capabilities, and generating reliable data for investors.
With the participation of Adam Gonzalez, CEO of COSTEP, and the support of business organizations, academia, and government authorities, this meeting marks a key step toward strengthening economic and logistical integration.
Organizations, companies, and institutions participating in the event included INDEX Nuevo Laredo, CANACINTRA, COPARMEX, CANACO, Laredo College, TAMIU, Universidad Tecnológica de Nuevo Laredo, FTZ, Laredo Bridge System, Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry, Laredo International Airport, ONILOG, Region of the Two Laredos, and representatives from the City of Laredo Economic Development Department.
